As a seasoned physical therapist, I know the most effective approach to treatment includes quality time with patients and an application of a comprehensive, individualized treatment methodology. Simply put, I look beyond the area of pain to find the true source.

To create a space for my vision for treatment, I founded Cranial Pain Solutions—a private physical therapy practice dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of head, neck, and TMJ pain and disorders. The focus is one-on-one time with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan.

To treat, I utilize a combination of manual techniques, such as joint and soft tissue mobilization, dry needling, myofascial release, and facilitation of proper movement patterns. This promotes healing and independence for a full return to daily function.

I have experienced headaches since my teenage years along with neck and jaw pain in adulthood. My personal journey created a deep desire to understand and study the therapeutic treatments for these conditions.

I attended the University of Cincinnati for a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Physical Therapy. I also obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy with a focus on in-depth study of the craniofacial region, cervical spine, and TMJ from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. I have a Certification in Cranio-Facial Physical Therapy, which advanced my training in the evaluation and hands-on treatment for the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), cervical and upper thoracic spine, facial pain, and headaches.

Through my education and personal experiences, I have developed a passion for helping others find relief from chronic pain and dysfunction. I am dedicated to providing high-quality, individualized care to each of my patients and strive to empower them to take control of their own health and well-being.

I have honed my skills in treating a wide range of orthopedic and neurological deficits. I utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques and dry needling to alleviate pain and reduce any joint or soft tissue restrictions.

I believe it is important to then challenge the neuromuscular system to improve neuroplasticity through purposeful movement. I also enjoy connecting with my clients to help motivate them and help them reach their goals to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle full of joy.

I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in Exercise Movement. I then went on to pursue my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Campbell University in 2018.

As a physical therapist with over 20 years of experience, I understand that effective treatment requires dedicated time with each patient and a holistic, individualized approach. My focus is to identify and address the root cause of pain, not just the symptoms.

I use a range of manual therapy techniques, including joint and soft tissue mobilization, dry needling, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and myofascial release. These methods facilitate healing and empower patients to regain full functionality in their daily lives.

Throughout my career, I have cultivated expertise in managing both acute and chronic injuries, such as cervical and postural pain, lumbar and sacroiliac dysfunction, and various joint injuries. I emphasize patient education on self-management and lifestyle modifications to ensure long-term relief. I believe in stimulating the neuromuscular system to foster neuroplasticity through intentional movement. Building strong connections with my patients to inspire and support them in achieving their health goals is a cornerstone of my approach, promoting a vibrant and active lifestyle.

I hold a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Louisville. My professional training includes advanced techniques such as integrative dry needling, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, and myofascial release.
