Dr. Megan Connett
PT, DPT, CMP (Certified Mulligan Practitioner)
Dr. Megan Connett joins Cranial Pain Solutions as a full-time physical therapist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of cervical spine disorders, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, and headaches. A Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP), she brings advanced expertise in mobilization with movement alongside her outpatient orthopedic experience emphasizing spinal conditions, and she has dedicated a significant portion of her clinical practice to helping patients with head, neck, and jaw conditions.
Megan earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Mount St. Joseph University and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Dayton. She is passionate about identifying the underlying source of pain through comprehensive, evidence-based evaluation and developing individualized treatment plans that promote lasting improvement in function and quality of life.
Her treatment approach emphasizes one-on-one, hands-on care and integrates advanced manual therapy techniques including joint and soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, mobilization with movement, therapeutic cupping, and dry needling. Megan has completed advanced training in cranio-cervical dry needling, diagnostic ultrasound for assessment and dry needling of the cervical spine, and TMJ rehabilitation, allowing her to effectively manage complex head, neck, and facial pain. At Cranial Pain Solutions she trains directly under Dr. Debbie Clarke — the region’s only dual-certified (CFC + CCTT) craniofacial physical therapist.
Megan is also committed to advancing the physical therapy profession through education and mentorship. She is a credentialed Clinical Instructor through the APTA and has served as an anatomy teaching assistant and clinical educator, helping to train future physical therapists.
Megan believes every individual deserves to be heard, thoroughly evaluated, and actively involved in their care. She is dedicated to helping patients understand the source of their symptoms, restore confidence in movement, and return to the activities that matter most — and she continually pursues advanced education to ensure the highest quality, evidence-based care for every patient.
